Staying On Track With Birthdays and Vacations!

Good Monday Morning!

(Anyone else hate Mondays as much as I do? Yea thought so.)

I hope everyone had a great weekend, I spent all weekend gearing up for my big trip this coming Thursday! We are driving 9-10 hours (yes driving -__-) to Florida  Do not get me wrong, I LOVE going to Florida I just HATE the driving part! Let me take you back a couple days to Friday, Which is my weigh in day!
I was down to 205! Which puts me at 30lbs lost! See Above ^^
This is no small task, I see these pictures and still 9 times out of 10 I still feel like I am 235lbs and in a size 18-20 pants when I look in the mirror. Anyone else have this problem? I felt like I kinda fell off the wagon this weekend with eating, granted I didn't eat like shit, I just ate portions that were 2-3 times what I really should have eaten. I guess I am getting myself worked up for this trip, because I know there will be SO much temptation. The Fiance is already hollering about Whataburger and eating there a lot since we do not have them down here in Virginia. Last time when we went to Florida in Sept of 2012, we went to whataburger at least 4-5 times when we were down there, Did I mention we were only down there Thurs-Mon? No wonder I gained so much weight! Haha.

I have turned to my WW Sisters for a lot of support and advice since this will be my first time away from home since starting this journey. Let me just take a minute to say, My WW sisters are amazing! Talk about the best group of girls! Supportive, Helpful, Funny, and just plain amazing! Thank you girls, Love y'all!

Now back to my Vaca! Here is my plan:
Thursday:Driving allll day- pack food for lunch and snacks! NO FAST FOOD!
Friday: I have a feeling the FI will want Whataburger for lunch, Maybe ill make myself a Boca Burger and tell him to just go get lunch and bring it back to the house! Then lay by the pool until our engagement pictures with this amazing person, seriously, go check her out! Jenn Gunthrie Photography!

No that is not me, I just wanted to show you how fucking AMAZING her work is, Girl has got skill! :)

Saturdays plans: The FI fathers Navy retirement party and seafood boil. I hate seafood. Have I ever mentioned that? Shrimp is alright, but I have my fingers crossed that someone will have chicken! :)
Sunday: I think we are going to some kind of festival  I am thinking I will eat before we go, and take pop chips as a snack. No temptation there!
Monday:Back to Va again, another packed lunch and snacks for the ride home!

So there you have it. If anyone has ANY advice on eating healthier while on vaca PLEASE leave me your tips! <3 <3 <3

Make Up Review- Ulta

Hello, My name is Traci and I am a Make-up-aholic.

The first step in recovery is admitting your addiction right? Well I have no desire to cure this addiction! I love make-up. Its a woman thing! And today I will be reviewing a few Ulta products I got over the weekend! (you can find all of this at your local Ulta store, or ulta.com)
One of them was this free bag with lots of free stuff inside!
Let me start by saying, the closest ulta store to my house, is 45-50mins away, in a busy ass city, with traffic, lots of it. I hate traffic, and people and busy-ness! So you know this sale had to be big for my ass to travel for some make up!
The sale they were having was, you spend 19.50 in Ulta brand products you got that ^^ bag free and also a free eyeliner and eyeshadow (of your choice, ulta brand only of course)!

So here is what I got!
1.Glittering Sand Eye Shadow- Wanted for a brow definer, Hoping it would show up light like Verve from the Naked2 Pallete, but it didn't.
2. Infatuation Cheek- Haven't used yet
3. Social Climber Eye Shadow-I like this color, A lot!
4.Molten Eye Shadow- Wanted this to use as a corner shadow for the brown smokey eye effect, it is a little more glittery than shimmerish if that makes sense. Works but does not blend well with others
5. Truffle Eye Shadow-Very Pretty color, darker in person than in this picture.
6.Sandstone Eye Shadow-My favorite of the group, very versatile!
7. Precious Pink Lip Stick- LOVE I am not a lip stick person, I have big lips and lipstick seems to draw too much attentnion to them, but this color is a perfect natural color for my skin tone. Apply a nice chapstick first though so you do not get that cakey look!
8.Black Amped Up Lashes Mascara- I was suprised at how good this mascara was, I try every single drug store mascara that comes out and 95% of them, are shit. I have shorter thin lashes and this mascara seperates and lengthens them!
9. Black Automatic Eye Liner- Works okay, I am a thick bottom eye liner girl, and it took me a few strokes to get this to where I wanted it. Once again it works, and works good, just not like my favorite eyeliner
10.Brushes- Shit brushes
11. Nail Polish-Did not try, seems to be a thicker color rather than transparent
12. Starlet Lip Gloss-Still in wrapper, Not a fan of sticky lips

So there ya go, I only paid for 3-6, @ $7 each it was $28 so I was well over my limit for my free goodies! Over all I am pleased, The only disappointment I had with them is they do not blend well together, and I use 3-4 colors on my eyes every day. and you need to apply them with your finger or with one of the sponge wands. When you use a brush with these eye shadows, they go on, but it is patchy and causes you to have to apply over and over and then the eye shadow powder goes all over your face and the container causing you to loose and waste some of the product. So when using ulta eye shadow be SURE to use your dinger ;) or a sponge wand!

Comparing these to the Naked2 Palette colors? Some are similar, they just do not blend as well. But then again I think I am just biased when it comes to my Naked2 :)

Then and Now

Good morning loves!

I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! As for me? It was short of course, shopping Saturday ;) and yesterday we traveled 2 hours to surprise my grandmother for her 70th birthday! The first thing she said? My how slim you look! So this led me to my blog post today, It's 6:37am on a Monday and in order for me to function today, (and NOT hurt anyone), I will need breakfast. A good one!

Everyone says breakfast is the most important meal of the day! & By far I do believe it is! I wanted to share with you what my breakfast was before I decided to get healthier and change my way of eating. Here is what a typical morning meal consisted of,

1. Left over pizza, my absolute FAV!
2. 2 Grill cheese sandwiches, with extra cheese
3. 2 Hash browns, 1 Bacon Egg and Cheese Bagel AND Biscuit from McDonald
(yes I put down 2 sandwiches and 2 hash browns every morning easily)
That Mcdonalds meal, comes out to 1290 calories. 1290. That is more than I eat in a DAY now. Amazing.

Here is what I eat now!
1/2-3/4 cups of Egg beaters,
Spinach,
1 Piece of Fat Free Skim Milk American Cheese &
2 Pieces of 40 Calorie Bread.

Total Calorie Count?

191 Calories, or 4 Weight Watchers Points.
Mind blowing huh?

When you trade shit food for healthy food you get to fit into cute outfits like this

Love this outfit! and the shirt? I would NEVER wear anything like this, and now, I bought 2, In a size large! From and Old Navy XXL to a L and its not even a Tee shirt! :) *Does happy dance*

HAVE A GREAT MONDAY Y'ALL

It Starts

Hey Y'all!

Welcome to my tiny little spot on the internet! This blog was created after having so many people on Instagram & In life tell me how much they loved the way I did my make-up, and since I am a make-up whore and go through it like toilet paper, I figured a blog needed to be started!

This blog will also follow me on my weight loss journey, Jan 25th of 2013 I joined Weight Watchers, and today April 21st of 2013 I have lost 30lbs! I do NOT consider this a diet, no, this is a complete lifestyle change, and changing something you are so used to is hard, it was SO much easier to grab a quick burger or pizza, and sit down smother it in ranch and down 3-4 pieces, now cutting out the bad foods, I feel 100x better and healthier! Along with WW I am also counting calories on Myfitnesspal.com (my username is tnmorelock, follow me!) And I do believe that MFP has put in perspective more than anything what I put into my body.

I am also training for my first Color Run, Yea I know a 5k isnt much, but for someone who started off EXHAUSTED after just walking 1.56 miles in 30mins, this 5k is gonna be awesome! My current mile time is 13.52. not bad, def not great! I still have a LONG way to go but progress is the BEST form of motivation!

The first picture is me, Jan 2013, at a whopping 235 POUNDS (frightening huh?) I got on the scale this morning, one said 203.7 and the other 205.4 (I have a total of 4 scales, insane I know) so I am right around 30lbs lost, I want nothing more than to get to ONEderland, and continue my journey towards my goal of 135, for a total of 100lbs lost! My BMI had gone down also, I started at 43 and now am at 37.6! Progress is progress people!

Weight has always been an issue in my life, growing up with a beautiful size 3 mother in a world full of kids who gave you hell if you were bigger than a size 7. I have tried almost every diet fad out there, but always failed due to the lack of will power and REALLY wanting it. But this time is different, now it's time for change and happiness! As you can see from the picture above I will be getting married, in exactly 159 days to be exact! Trying on a size TWENTY wedding dress really put everything in to perspective to me, I did NOT want to be a fat bride, a fat wife and eventually a fat mother. Being obese would mean trimming years off my life and cutting the time I got to spend with my family. I will be fit. I will. There is no question to it. by my wedding day, I would like to be at 170lbs. ATLEAST 170lbs, hopefully less!

So welcome, and join me in Tracking Traci through life, weightloss, make-up and cats of course ;)
